In order to adhere to my new stance that that literally nothing is too trivial for this blog, allow me to document a repair I affected to my toilet brush.
My apartment has matching plastic toilet brushes, and one of them broke. I tried the obvious solution of using cyanoacrylate, but that refused to bond well with this plastic. What ended up working was to drill out the broken part and insert a wood screw. Now the handle firmly attaches and thanks to the way it is constructed, you can't even tell that anything was repaired.

I verified the integrity of my repair at home by thoroughly cleaning my toilet. I've omitted imagery because I think you would rather take my word for it.
